Artist Consideration

Stefani Art Gallery considers artists whose work reflects discipline, intention, and enduring vision.

As part of the House of Stefani, the gallery operates as a place of curation and cultural stewardship. Work is selected for its capacity to remain meaningful over time—beyond moment, trend, or immediate context.

The program focuses on modern, contemporary, and abstract practices across painting, photography, and mixed media.

Submissions are reviewed on a rolling basis. The gallery program is currently full; select work may be held for future consideration.

Foundation

In parallel with its exhibition program, Stefani Art Gallery is supported by the House of Stefani Arts & Cultural Foundation.

The Foundation exists to support artists whose work reflects long-term commitment to craft and practice. This may include emerging voices, independent research, or work that sits outside the gallery’s immediate exhibition program.

Consideration for the Foundation is separate from gallery exhibition and is approached with the same level of care and discernment.

Consideration Pathways

Submissions are reviewed within two contexts:

Gallery Program
Work selected for exhibition and representation within Stefani Art Gallery.

Foundation Review
Work considered for future development, research support, or inclusion through the House of Stefani Arts & Cultural Foundation.

Not all submissions align with the gallery program. Select work may be considered within the Foundation.

Painting
Sculpture
Photography
Textile
Glass
Ceramic
Wood

Original works and limited-edition fine art prints.

Not Considered

Cards, home goods, or mass-produced objects
Reproductions or print-on-demand work
Work previously exhibited within the immediate regional radius
Political, religious, or explicitly graphic subject matter

Standards

All work must be original and created by the submitting artist.

Presentation should meet gallery standards, including professional framing or installation readiness.

Work is assessed for both craft and clarity of intent.

The gallery accommodates a range of scales; practical limitations may apply.

Participation

Artists included in exhibitions are expected to be present for key gallery moments, including openings and conversations when applicable.

Representation & Terms

Gallery commission is 50%.

This reflects curation, exhibition, staffing, operations, and long-term stewardship of the work.

Payment for sold work is issued within 21 days.

Artists are responsible for delivery to the gallery. The gallery assumes responsibility for the work during exhibition and onward delivery to collectors.

Incomplete submissions are not reviewed.

Due to volume, individual responses are not provided.

Submission implies agreement with the above terms.

Work is considered with care.
Selected with intention.
